A woman has been grabbed by two men in a street robbery in Limavady.

It happened as the woman was walking along the Market Street area on Wednesday December 17 at around 9.30pm.

Police said two men, wearing hooded tops, demanded money and searched through the woman's pockets before making off on foot in the direction of Catherine Street.

No money was taken and the woman while she wasn't physically injured, was left badly shocked.

Two men aged 18 and 21 year have been charged with robbery in relation to this incident and are due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court today Monday December 22.
