Woman has car hi-jacked by armed gang in Belfast

A woman has had her car hi-jacked by a gang wielding an iron bar in south Belfast.

It happened in the Lisburn Road area at around 6pm on Tuesday.

The victim was ordered out of her silver Peugeot 206 by three men - one of which threatened her with a metal bar - before making off in the car.

It was later found abandoned in the St James Crescent area of west Belfast.

The victim was not injured during the robbery but left shaken.
