Woman sexually assaulted in grounds of Craigavon Area Hospital

A woman has been sexually assaulted in the grounds of Craigavon Area Hospital in Co Armagh.

The attack happened on Wednesday, January 8 as a 33-year-old woman was walking from a car park close to the mortuary before being approached by two men.

One man walked in front of her while a second man - who appeared behind - sexually assaulted her.

Police have described both men as 'foreign' and 'possibly Eastern European' - aged between 30 and 40 years old.

The first man is said to be around 5ft 5inches or 6inches tall with a shaved head.

He was wearing a red hoody or jacket.

The attacker is approximately 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with dark, short hair.

He was wearing a dark, waist length jacket with a zip on the front and buttons at the wrists.

He spoke in broken English, police said.

They have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
