Woman suffers broken nose after being assaulted by man in Portadown

A woman suffered a broken nose after being pushed to the ground by a man in Portadown.

It happened just after 2.30am on Sunday morning on West Street Portadown.

Officers said the woman was assaulted by a male and pushed to the ground.

As a result she has a broken nose.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 5'6", balding, thin build and wearing jeans.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Violence has no place in society, especially unprovoked and at this time of year! If you were in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, please give us a call. The incident number is 268 of 17/12/17.
