A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued for Northern Ireland by the Met Office.

There is a chance of thundery showers bringing localised disruption on Tuesday afternoon and evening.

There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.

Delays to train services are possible and some short term loss of power and other services is likely.

Some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes is also possible.

The weather warning is in force from 12pm until 9pm on Tuesday.
