Yob's foul-mouthed rant from public gallery in Antrim court

By Nevin Farrell

A man who burst into a courtroom and launched a foul-mouthed rant from the public gallery yesterday said he wanted his remarks covered by the local newspaper.

William Walter Kyles (46), of Greenpark Drive in Antrim, was at the town's Magistrates Court where he was due to be sentenced in relation to being disorderly at Antrim Area Hospital.

Before his defence lawyer Ben Thompson arrived, Kyles burst into the court, forcing other proceedings to be halted as he said: "I had to sign myself out of hospital for this f***** here, f****** b****** you." Mr Thompson said his client was sorry when his case was called. Sentencing was adjourned until November.
