Youngsters on target with soccer street art
Young people in the Braniel came together to create graffiti street art signs to promote the mini-soccer project in the estate.
The signs were designed and created by young people taking part in the Young Emerging Leaders Project, managed by Charter for Northern Ireland, with the help of Blaze FX.
Ten young people from the estate worked on the street signs for two months.
Project manger Gareth Beacom said: "This is a great piece of work which shows positive art work created by the engagement of young people, detached workers and artists."
Stephen Nixon from Braniel Mini Soccer said the project gave an opportunity to spread the word of the Mini Soccer programme. "They're fantastic looking signs and will do a good job promoting the good work happening within the estate," he added.
