Youth (16) interviewed by police in connection with assault of boys in west Belfast

A 16-year-old youth has been interviewed in connection with an assault on three boys in west Belfast.

Police investigating an assault on three boys on the Glen Road in west Belfast on Wednesday September 6, say they conducted an interview with a 16-year-old male youth in relation to the incident.

He was interviewed at Musgrave station after "attending voluntarily and a report will now be completed by officers and forwarded to the PPS", police said.

Detective Inspector Paul Rowland has continued to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward and speak to detectives in Musgrave on 101 quoting reference number 811 06/09/17.
