Perhaps it was the years of presenting Blue Peter that meant Zoe Salmon was well prepared to deal with a friend's wardrobe malfunction at a glitzy Dublin awards ceremony.
Former Miss Northern Ireland Zoe - who did a three-year stint on the BBC children's show famous for its arts and crafts 'makes' - was in the Double Tree Hotel on Friday night for the Irish Film and Television Academy awards, better known as the IFTAs.
It almost ended in disaster though for another model and TV presenter - Zoe's pal Vogue Williams - when a large rip suddenly appeared in her floor-length side-split gown.
The 36-year-old Bangor broadcaster came to the rescue and the pair quickly nipped into the less glamorous surroundings of the ladies loo to do some emergency repairs.
Vogue found herself stripping to her underwear, and the 30-year-old filmed herself on Snapchat hiding away in her lingerie while Zoe swiftly attempted to sew up the tear.
Directly facing the camera, the model's lingerie-clad frame was on show but Vogue laughed at the situation with her fans, saying to the camera: "You know when your dress totally rips and you have to find your dream seam Zoe to sew your dress, while Andrea sits on the toilet and watches..."
Salmon, wearing a stunning floor-length white gown, laughed as she desperately stitched up the seam with a needle and thread.
