Pair deny manslaughter charge

Two Maghera men have denied the manslaughter of a man whose body was found in a field off the Glenshane Pass.

Standing in the dock of Londonderry Crown Court, sitting in Belfast, 31-year-old Niall Regan and 41-year-old Robert Porter both pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Gregory Paul Woods on a date unknown between February 2-6 last year.

The body of 41-year-old Mr Woods, from Castledawson, was found in a field near the top of the Glenshane Pass, close to the Ponderosa Bar.

Both men were released on bail.
