Pedestrian in his seventies left in serious condition after Portadown crash

The man was hit by a car on Market Street just before 3pm on Saturday

Police have called for witnesses to come forward after a crash in Portadown town centre has left a pedestrian in his seventies in a serious condition in hospital.

The crash, involving a car and a pedestrian occurred on Market Street shortly before 3pm. The pedestrian, a man aged in his 70’s, remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Any witnesses in the area yesterday afternoon are urged to contact officers in Mahon Road on 101 quoting reference number 703 of April 15, 2017.
