Police issue appeal over missing Portrush man

By Cate McCurry

Police in Portrush have appealed for information after a 24-year-old man was reported missing by his family in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The family of Adam MacKay say they are becoming increasingly concerned about his welfare. The PSNI said he was last seen at approximately 1am yesterday morning in the harbour area in Portrush.

Adam is around 5ft 11 inches, of slim build with short, spiky, dirty-fair hair. It is believed that Adam was wearing glasses, a short sleeve blue shirt and light blue jeans.

Anyone who has information about Adam’s whereabouts is asked to contact CID in Coleraine on non-emergency number 101.
