Corporation tax on agenda for MPs

Plans to hand Northern Ireland control of its corporation tax rates are to be debated by a special committee of MPs.

The Northern Ireland Grand Committee will consider the Treasury's proposals on Tuesday, November 1.

A consultation into ‘rebalancing Northern Ireland's economy' proposals closed in July, and supporters of the scheme are waiting for the final proposals from Westminster.

The grand committee includes all Northern Ireland’s current MPs.
