Punters bet on Guinness at Cheltenham

William Hill have opened betting on how many pints of Guinness will be sold at this year’s Cheltenham Festival.

Last year there were 199,469 pints of the stout sold at Prestbury Park.

The bookies are predicting another stellar year for Arthur Guinness’s 250-year-old brew.

Odds sit at 3/1 that there will be between 195,001 and 210,000 pints sold, and 11/4 that there will be over 210,000 drunk over the four days.
