11 people released in child sexual exploitation investigation

Eleven people arrested in an investigation into alleged sexual exploitation of children have been released without charge.

Files on the six women and five men will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The 11, aged from their 20s to 70s, were detained on Monday in Limerick, Tipperary and Kerry.

They were questioned about alleged exploitation of children in the Newcastle West area of Co Limerick.
