Appeal for witnesses after man stabbed in face outside railway station

Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the face in Dublin.

The man in his 30s was assaulted outside Clontarf Road railway station at around 8pm on Thursday June 20.

Gardai said the victim suffered apparent stab wounds to the face and was taken to Beaumont Hospital after he went to Clontarf garda station.

They are appealing to anyone who witnessed the attack or who was in the area at the time and may have seen something related to the incident to come forward.

They are also appealing to motorists who were in the area with dashcams to come forward.
