Body of teenage boy (16) discovered at house in Cork

The body of a teenage boy, understood to be aged 16, has been found at a house in Cork.

The discovery was made at a house in the Deerpark area of the city on Monday morning after a friend called round, and found the young man unresponsive.

The authorities are investigating the cause of death.

Toxicology reports will be carried out, and the State Pathologist has been informed.
