By Brendan McDaid

The remains of Donegal man David Colhoun are to be released to his family tomorrow, his father Joe Colhoun has said.

A post-mortem has confirmed that the body found at the River Finn was that of the missing 22-year-old from Lifford, Co Donegal.

David vanished shortly after fleeing from PSNI custody close to the Co Tyrone border in the early hours of May 22, 2011.

His remains were found by a digger diver on Tuesday at the riverbank at Islandmore.
