Cyclist dies four days after crashing into motorbike

The 34-year-old man was taken to hospital after the incident on Sunday but succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.

A cyclist has died after hitting a parked motorbike in County Wexford.

The incident happened on the main road from Adamstown to Carrickbyrne at around 1.40pm on Sunday.

The 34-year-old male cyclist was taken to Wexford General Hospital with serious injuries, where he died on Thursday.

Gardai investigating the collision appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have information to contact New Ross garda station on 051-426030.
