Cyclist left in critical condition in hospital after Dublin collision

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact them with information.

A cyclist is in critical condition in hospital after a serious collision with a car in west Dublin, gardai have said.

The incident happened on Oak Road in Clondalkin on Friday afternoon at about 3.30pm.

The cyclist, a 30-year-old woman, was taken to Tallaght Hospital with severe injuries. She remains in hospital.

The 31-year old driver, a woman, was not hurt in the collision.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses, especially anyone with dashcam footage, to contact Clondalkin Garda Station.
