Dara O'Briain's hilarious and witty response to Twitter user who said he was 'not an immigrant'...
Irish comedian Dara O Briain has gone viral for his wry response to a Twitter user who informed O'Briain that he was "not an immigrant".
O' Briain replied to Twitter user 'ExtraStarsBoss' to inform him "I’m from a different country, raised in a different language, diff sports, music, culture, literature media. Get over it".
When he received a reply stating "Ireland is not that different... same as all the other English-speaking countries", Dara responded in perfect Irish, silencing the user.
"No, it's not, it has it's own language and the culture that comes with it. It's a pity you don't understand that".
His tweet was retweeted over 200 times with a screenshot of the conversation being retweeted over 1,500 times.
O'Briain is no stranger to standing up to trolls on the popular platform and has been known to reply to Irish-language tweets in his native tongue.
