Drugs worth 5.5m euros found in shipment of oranges and melons

Cannabis worth an estimated 5.5 million euros has been seized at Rosslare port.

The 277kg of herbal cannabis was found on a trailer that had arrived into Rosslare Europort from Bilbao in Spain.

The unaccompanied trailer was selected for examination by Revenue officers on Saturday morning as part of routine profiling operations.
