Dublin bomb scares 'elaborate hoax'
Army bomb disposal experts have carried out controlled explosions on two suspicious objects found in Dublin, gardai said.
The objects were discovered at a shop and a house in Hartstown in the west of the capital late on Monday night.
Both were declared elaborate hoaxes.
A controlled explosion was carried out on the first object, found at a home on Cherryfield Close, at around 11.30pm.
The second hoax device was discovered outside a shop in Parslickstown.
The area was cleared while specialists conducted another explosion.
Officers declared the scene safe at around 4.30am.
