Dublin shooting: Three teenagers injured in Shangan Green incident

Three teenagers have been injured after a shooting incident in the Shangan Green area of north Dublin.

It happened at about 8pm and the three males were taken by ambulance to The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and Children's University Hospital in Temple Street.

It is thought their injuries were caused by shotgun pellets.

Gardai are investigating and have appealed for witnesses.

A spokesperson said: "The scene is preserved for a technical and forensic examination and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 016664400, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

"No arrests have been made."
