Four held over Dublin shooting

Four men have been arrested in connection with a suspected gangland murder in February.

Aidan Byrne was apparently lured to North Circular Road in Dublin where he was shot dead in a car.

The arrested men, three in their 20s and one in his 30s, were held in the city on Wednesday.

They were taken to Garda stations in Bridewell, Pearse Street, Store Street and Mountjoy for questioning under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Byrne was believed to have been linked to one of the factions involved in a bloody feud in the north inner city.
