Gardai investigating fatal stabbing in Dublin's inner city
A man has been stabbed to death in Dublin's south inner city, gardai say.
The victim, aged in his 60s, was discovered at Robinson's Court, off Cork Street, at around 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
He was taken by ambulance to St James Hospital but was pronounced dead there a short time later.
Gardai at Kevin Street are investigating the incident.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination and the State pathologist has been asked to attend.
Forensic experts from the Garda Technical Bureau are also expected to carry out an examination of the scene.
A Garda spokesman said: "Investigations are continuing."
Detectives have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
