Gardai plea in hunt for attacker

A photofit of a suspect wanted for a serious assault on a woman has been issued by gardai.

The victim in her 20s was attacked by a man in Ballymount Park, west Dublin, on May 30.

The suspect is described as approximately 30 years of age, of average height and build, with short dark hair and wearing a black leather jacket.

He escaped on foot in the direction of the M50 after a struggle with the woman, who was later treated in hospital.

Gardai have appealed to motorists travelling on the M50 between Junction 10 Ballymount and Junction 9 Red Cow between 10.30am and 12.30pm who may have noticed a man fitting the description to contact them.
