Glaring problem with Donald Trump's St Patrick's Day themed hats
There's a glaring problem with President Donald Trump's St Patrick's Day themed hats.
Donald Trump's team are trying to cash in on the success they had with the red 'Make America Great Again' baseball caps that dominated his presidential campaign.
In celebration of St Patrick's Day the Trump committee have launched green 'MAGA' hats.
At US$50 (€47) the hats are double the price of the original red caps.
But that's not the main issue.
Twitter users were quick to point out that the "alternative" shamrock embroidered on the back of the hat is a four-leaf clover.
The clover has nothing to do with St Patrick's Day, or Ireland.
The shamrock is a three-leaf sprig of clover and is associated with St Patrick's Day.
The four-leaf clover is a sugary, oat piece that you'll find in a box of Lucky Charms cereal.
