Jobs created at Dublin finance firm

A financial firm is to create 60 jobs in Dublin over the next three years, it has been revealed.

Capita Financial Group Ireland intends to more than double its workforce after a 1.8 billion euro initiative was announced.

Paul Nunan, managing director of Capita's Irish operation, said: "We are very optimistic about the future of the company and the industry in which we operate and look forward to continue to grow the business in Ireland."

Gary Palmer, head of the Irish Funds Industry Association, added: "The announcement from Capita highlights the strength of the Irish funds industry."

Capita Financial Group Ireland employs 40 people in Ireland in transfer agency and fund administration.
