Man arrested after shotgun attack

A 20-year-old man has been arrested after a shotgun attack on a home in south Dublin.

The gun was fired through the glass front door of the family home in Drimnagh at about 1am on Friday.

The shooting is being linked to an earlier row involving a man and local youths outside the house on Lissadel Drive.

No-one was injured in the incident.

The arrested man is being detained under section 50 of the Offences Against the State Act at Crumlin Garda Station.
