Man dies in Dublin stabbing
Another man was injured in the incident in the North Strand area in the early hours of Friday.
A man has died in a stabbing incident in Dublin.
The man, aged in his mid-40s, was fatally injured at around 4am on Friday at Clinch’s Court in the North Strand area of the city.
Gardai said he was taken to the Mater Hospital where he later died.
A second man, also in his mid-40s, was injured in the incident. He was taken to St James Hospital for treatment.
The scene at Clinch’s Court was sealed off for a forensic examination.
Gardai have appealed to anyone who was in the the area between 3am and 4.15am to come forward. They also urged any taxi drivers with dashcam footage from the area to get in contact.
