Man found dead in Bloomfield Avenue, Dublin

The body of man in his 20s has been found in Dublin.

Gardai were called to a flat near Bloomfield Avenue off Dublin's South Circular Road at around 3.45pm on Tuesday.

Another man, found with injuries close to the scene, was taken to hospital.

A Garda spokesperson said: "The dead man is in his 20s and is an Irish national. His body has been taken to the City Morgue , where a post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow. Another man in his 20s remains in St James' Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

"Gardaí are appealing for a third man, also in his 20s, seen leaving the house at about 3.20pm, to contact them. This man is described as 5'6'', thin build and wearing a dark top which may have been blood stained."
