Gardai are investigating after the body of a man was discovered in a house off the Navan Road in Dublin on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old man was the victim of an assault on the Navan Road on November 14.

Gardai said no arrests have been made in relation to that incident and investigations are ongoing.

His body has been removed for a post-mortem examination which will be conducted by the assistant state pathologist on Thursday.
