Gardai investigating the alleged murder of a man in his home in Cork in 2017 have arrested and charged a man in his 30s.

The man was arrested on Tuesday morning and is due to appear before Clonakilty District Court at 10.30am.

The body of 51-year-old John Ustic, who was originally from England, was discovered at his home in Skibbereen, Co Cork on 25 September 2017.

Gardai established that Mr Ustic died from injuries sustained during an assault, and the investigation was later upgraded to a murder inquiry.
