Man shot dead in Dublin ‘gangland’ killing
A man was shot dead in Dublin in the latest gangland-style murder to hit the Irish capital.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was shot in the Finglas area of the city at around 6.50pm on Saturday.
He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Early reports said the victim, who is said to have been known to police, was shot several times by a lone gunman.
Gardai sealed off the murder scene at the junction of Barnamore Crescent and Saint Helena's Road.
