Payout to horse crash man

A doctor injured when a stray horse landed on the roof of the car he was driving has been awarded €668,352 (£592,415) in damages in Dublin's High Court.

The court heard Thomas Breslin (46), a GP from Ballyedmond, Co Wexford, would have to work part-time or retire early after having a plate inserted in his neck following the accident in January, 27.
