Pedestrian dies two weeks after Dublin car accident

A man has died two weeks on from a car accident in which a number of pedestrians were injured.

Gardai said the 24-year-old was among four people knocked down by a silver Saab convertible on Adelaide Road in Dublin's south inner city during the evening rush-hour on Tuesday August 22.

He died in Beaumont Hospital.

Gardai appealed for witnesses to the collision or to any motorists who may have dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
