Probe after man shot in Dublin

A man has suffered leg injuries after being shot in Dublin.

Gardai said a lone gunman fired a number of shots during an incident at Whitestown Drive, in Mulhuddart, at about 10.30pm on Monday.

The 35-year-old man was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

The scene of the shooting has been sealed off to allow garda technical experts to carry out an examination.

Witnesses are asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda station on 01 6667000.
