Raiders hold up cash delivery van

Masked raiders have held up a cash delivery van outside a busy shopping centre.

Two men, who were believed to have been armed, struck on Thursday morning at Donaghmede shopping centre in north Dublin.

The cash van staff were delivering money to an ATM at around 10.15am when they were threatened by the robbers.

The culprits, who wore balaclavas, fled with an amount of money in a black 4x4 in the direction of Clare Hall, Coolock.

Investigating officers believe the registration was 07 C.

They have appealed for witnesses or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in or around the shopping centre to get in touch.
