School bus involved in crash in Limerick

It is not yet clear if any children were injured.

A school bus has been involved in a road accident, gardai said.

The crash involving at least one car occurred at about 8.30am on the R513 road near Caherconlish in Co Limerick.

It is not clear whether any of the children were injured.

A Garda traffic alert said: “Diversions are currently in place on the R513 between Caherconlish & Herbertstown due to a collision.

“Gardai & emergency services are at the scene.”

Limerick City and County Council tweeted that it was a “multi-vehicle crash”.
