Skeletal remains found in park

Skeletal remains have been found in a north Dublin park, gardai said.

State pathologist Marie Cassidy has been called to the scene, at Tolka Valley Park, in Finglas.

The Garda Technical Bureau has also been asked to attend.

Gardai said the remains were found at around 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The scene was sealed off.

"It appears that the remains may have been there for some time," said a Garda spokesman.
