Tech support firm Trusource to open new centre in Limerick

A technology support company is to create 134 jobs at a new base in Limerick.

Trusource Labs provides helpdesk assistance to clients using the Internet of Things and companies using Apple devices.

Founded in 2013 in Austin, Texas, the company employs more than 600 staff in the US.

The investment, backed by IDA Ireland, was announced by Jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor and Finance Minister Michael Noonan, TD for Limerick.

Trusource Labs focuses on minimising the need for customers to phone for technical support. It helps develop content for troubleshooting, providing support with phone, email, social, chat and video in multiple languages.
