Three held after drugs and guns seized in organised crime swoops

Three men have been arrested and drugs worth four million euro seized during organised crime raids in Dublin.

A shotgun, a semi-automatic pistol and stun guns were also recovered during searches in Ballyfermot Parade.

Heroin and cannabis plus a vacuum packing device and cash counting machine were also found by gardai.

A statement said: "Follow-up searches were conducted in the South Inner City and three males aged 46, 44 and 39 were arrested."

They remain in custody at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations.
