Three held over Dublin drugs haul

Three men have been arrested after gardai seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of half a million euro.

Around 1,000 plants were uncovered during a search of commercial premises in the Drumcondra area of Dublin on Saturday afternoon.

It was said to be part of an ongoing garda investigation.

Two of the men arrested at the scene are in their 30s, while a third man in his late 20s was later arrested.

They are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996, at Bridewell Garda Station and can be held for up to seven days.
