Trio held over pipe bombs discovery

Three men are being questioned over the discovery of two pipe bombs last February.

One man was arrested in Dublin and two in Longford over the find outside a house in Edgeworthstown.

One man is aged in his 20s, another in his 40s and the third in his 60s.

The men are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act in Roscommon and Longford stations. They can be held for 72 hours.
