Two arrests after fatal stabbing in Loughlinstown

A man has died in a stabbing incident in Co Dublin.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was found with fatal stab wounds in Loughlinstown shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene in Loughlinstown Drive.

Two men, also aged in their 30s, were later arrested and detained at Shankill Garda Station.

Members of the Garda Armed Support Unit, local Garda units and other emergency services attended the incident.

The body of the deceased man remained at the scene on Tuesday morning with the area cordoned off for a forensic examination.

Gardai have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
