Two held after man critically hurt
A 26-year-old man is critical in hospital after a serious assault in Dublin city centre.
Two men in their 20s have been arrested by gardai investigating the attack at Temple Lane South in Temple Bar at about 12.45am on Sunday.
Gardai said the victim was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to St James Hospital.
He was later transferred to Beaumont where he remains in a critical condition.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses.
