Woman killed in Co Sligo collision

A woman in her 60s has died after a two car crash in Co Sligo on Saturday.

The victim was driving one of the vehicles involved in the collision on the N4 at Drumfin, Riverstown at 9:30am.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A male passenger in her car and a woman who was driving the other car have been taken to Sligo General Hospital.

The latest fatality comes as the families of three of the teenage victims of this week's horror crash in Co Kerry prepare to bury their loved ones.

Four teenagers died in the single vehicle collision on the Killarney to Mallow road on Wednesday morning.

Aine Riordan, 15, from Castleisland was buried on Friday.

The other victims - brothers David and Kevin Breen, aged 17 and 15 respectively, and 19-year old Brian Coffey - will be laid to rest on Friday.

A 16-year-old boy survived the crash and remained in hospital.
