Woman's stairs death not suspicious

The death of a woman whose body was found at the bottom of some stairs is not suspicious, gardai have said.

A post-mortem examination revealed there was no foul play over the death of the 41-year-old in Cork.

Her body was found at a house in Clifden Terrace, Summer Hill North, on Wednesday night.

The post-mortem was carried out at Cork University Hospital by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster on Thursday.

A Garda spokesman said: "The results indicate that there was no foul play involved."
