Sex attack allegations are probed by police

The PSNI is investigating three weekend sex attacks on young women across Northern Ireland.

In west Belfast, a 16-year-old girl was pushed to the ground on steps close to a shop at Divismore Park and indecently assaulted.

Her attacker took her mobile phone. He is described as being aged between 16-17, around 5ft 3ins tall with dark hair. He wore a green-grey knee length jacket with pockets on the chest.

In Dungannon, a sexual assault on a 22-year old woman was reported at Shambles Lane — which runs between Irish Street and Scotch Street in the town — in the early hours of Sunday.

And detectives in Enniskillen are investigating after a 16-year-old girl made an allegation of rape against a 17-year old boy in the Newbridge Road area of Lisnaskea at around 11pm on Saturday.

A police spokeswoman said a male was helping police inquiries.
